St. Ferdinand Parish SPRED – The David S. Rizzo, PGK Center
SPRED is a parish-based ministry that provides faith formation and spiritual nourishment to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities of all ages and function levels.
We are all blessed to be part of this beautiful ministry and to help children, teens, and adults develop an awareness of God in their lives and of themselves as an integral part of the parish community and the entire church.
St. Ferdinand dedicated its SPRED parish center, the David S. Rizzo, PGK Center, on Sunday, October 8, 2023. St. Ferdinand’s SPRED center was be dedicated in memory of David S. Rizzo, who served as Grand Knight of Mater Christi Council from 2013 – 2014.
We were honored to host the following catechists and supporters at our dedication: Maria Haydee Palumbo, Cynthia Aquino, Natalia Murillo, Aurora Soriano, Deacon William B. Burns, Carolina Arcangel, Cassie Mira, and Shirley Schofield, Julia Hess, and Julie Oloroso.
